iMax 8B Burned by Quality Controll

I was just burned by Imax 8B today. Brand new and doesn't work! Well I've tried the cheep ass knock off from China and now I'm ready to spend some money.

What should I get to charge 6s2p or 6s1p 5000mAh packs? I need 22.2 volts at a max of 5Amps charge current with balancer.

I would like buy a charger that will charge 2 simultaneously.

What would you guys recommend as a high output 2 port charger?

I'm currently using the Imax B6 and am loving it. My source in Hong Kong told me the B8's are still junk and that Sky is working on it. I'm going to pick one up when he gives me the ok. (Gotta love having an inside source) Sorry you got burned, did you try contacting Sky R/C?

Well in most cases the saying "you get what you pay for" is definitely true. I tell ya what though, the B6 has been doing some extraordinary things. Brought back my Radio South NIMH 1100 from only taking 530mah to a full 1093mah charge. Not to mention what its done for my rx, tx, and so forth.

You should look into the original high end balancing charger, the Bantam e-Station BC-8. No issues, just works.

Sorry to hear about your bad luck europa.

About the IMAX, IMO it's not the best but it does have an excellent value for money provided that you got it from a reliable source as WJackson said, good to have an insider source. This is particular important for buying Chinese product, not just charger, as QC is always an issue.

My IMAX B6 is working very good like W's one and the seller in HK told me that he personally 100% QC the product before it went out and, in his opinion, the reject rate is quite high , he also does not sell IMAX B8 due to quality issue

I have retired all my MS windows machine ever since the Mac OSX came out, no complain, no virus and I'll not go back to Windows. I'm also use an IMAX B6 knowing it's not the best, but I'm happy with it.
