Hey guys thought I should give it a go here. After a lot of reading it appears that Phoenix is one of the best (if not the best) for Helicopter physics. Well I had already order a Dynam 6 channel usb TX from ebay and wondered if it’ll work with Phoenix? Does anyone know if this is the case or will I need to buy another controller for this sim?

I’m going to be getting a new one pretty soon here anyway since it’s time for me to move up soon, but then I’m not really sure which one to get. Should get the DX6i or if I should go for the DX7 or is there some new TX that’s better in the long run (again this would be for Heli flying)? Any advice here would also be appreciated big time!

Thanks

the controls in phoenix have to go through the dongle. i dont know the tx your talking about but it sounds like it plugs in the usb on your PC, if it does then it wont work on the sim.

Damn why does that figure… another $40.00 gone to waste. Oh well I went ahead and bought a DX7.

Thanks for letting me know, very nice to see someone responded!

DX7 works perfect in Phoenix. Best to set it to 1 servo in swash selection, and let the sim do pitch mixing. Ge the JR plug on the dongle lead.
