Introduction:
I actually learned to fly 3D with the original HDX-500SE, and now I decided to go to a bigger one such a Gaui 550 or a Trex-600. I bought two of them, and I sold my original one to go a local flier. Here is my spare HDX-500SE. It is a complete helicopter, and everything is new and in original box. It is bigger and far more stable than any Trex-450 even Trex-450SE version. It is great for a beginner and sport flier. However, extreme 3D pilot needs to upgrade a few part such as longer fly bar (to get quicker cyclic), longer head (to get more throw on the cyclic), and bigger battery. I used only two 11.1V lithium polymer batteries, 2150mA, 20C, in parallel configuration to make a 11.1V power source, and I got from 5 to 7 minutes of fly-time.
