On a Raptor, I use Tri-Flo on the dampeners, not to much. Ball links should not need grease, but they may need to be sized to make sure they are free.

You want ot lubricate the tail pitch slider, and the seash and washout base on the mainshaft. Also the auto bearing.

To lubricate the dampeners in the rotor head. You need to use a synthenic grease. You do not want to use petroleum based grease.
Also the technique for lubing the dampeners is to use very little grease. Just a very light film on them. The dampeners in the Tempest heads should not be lubricated.

To lubricate the sprag clutch in the constant drive tail unit. You can use Tri-flow oil, transmission fluid, or any light weight oil.

Best thing I've found for the Raptor dampners is that silicone shock oil that the car guys use, you can pick it up at most any hobby shop that deals with cars or trucks.

one way sprags generally work better with a bit of oil. too heavy grease can cause the rollers not to roll, and therefore not to engage. Ball links need sized, not lubricated. Get a sizing tool, they are worth their weight in gold (well, copper anyway).

I generally try to lubricate the washout base, if it is metal, because they tend to wear pretty fast, if they are plastic, then they really don't need lubricated.

you should put some heavy grease on the thrust bearings in the bladegrips, during assembly. Some people like to use a tool called "the greaser" to force grease through all their bearings. Personaly, mine usually get notched from crashes long before the grease would have done any good.

most of the time the oil in the exhaust soaks everything down, so it is pointless to oil every little thing you can think of.
