First of all i would want to thank God that I'm still alive....Guess what, both the grips blown up when spooling up till mid stick...both the blades flew off the grips to 12o'clk and 4 o'clk position....i was just standing at 6 o clk...hence now doing the repair...and got nos of parts to get..

It really puzzled me and i'm still too shock to find out the real problem...probably material fatigue on the grips.....

Back to the main intent.. hope if anyone here can recommend a website to buy the SST eagle parts at a reasonable or cheaper price.. those FFZ-II parts...But most important is to get the cnc grips..I don't want to risk my life again....

Or the best is to get the whole head assembly, like the SSZ-II head assembly or the SSZ-III r/h... wow ... the parts are real expensive...hence hope to get a good deal when buying from the online shop that u guys can recommend.

Pls private message me or post it on to this if appropriate. tks in advance.

Did the grips break at the bolt holes? What blades and what headspeed are you running? Pretty odd both grips would fail at the same time.
Any pics of the leftovers?

You don't list a location but Ron's Heliproz South carries most hirobo parts.

I'd really like to see what failed and know what headspeed you were running as well. Maybe the spindle was loose?

If I were buying a new head, I'd probably pick up the Avant programmable head. It's a work of art, and flies very well.

i was in the process of starting up when the grips gave way at mid stick.
