Just spotted this:
http://www.readyheli.com/FlightPower_EVOLITE_28C_4270_6S1P_Battery_p/evolite4270-6s.htm
While it's not a pack I'm after, the "V2" on the pack sure caught my eye.
Anyone know what that means?

I just recieved one of these from FlightTech after sending back a pack under warrantee.
On first inspection its the same dimensions, same wiring method, but approximately 5g heavier.
I did a 5C (12.5A) discharge on both packs, taking measurements at 11.1v (3.7v/c) 10.8v (3.6v/cell), 1500mah and 1700mah.

The V2 pack was considerably cooler than the original pack after they came off the dischargers. I didn't have a thermometer to check the temps, but i'd guess it at about 6-8c difference. I'd estimate the temperature of the V2 pack to be around 35*c (17c ambient) when it came off the discharger. Keep in mind there is NO airflow over the pack during this test.
Real world testing: The difference is definatly noticable during 3D manouvres like tic-tocs, hard punch-outs and long vertical climbs.
Below is the Excel spreadsheet for your viewing pleasure :)

18C -> 20C
I hope the weight hasn't changed.

yea, if you look at the pic on the ReadyHeli link, it says 20c, even though the description says 18c.
