I'm really having fun with the 450 V2 now and want to add a nitro 600 to my collection, advice time please, I don't have a budget so just tell me the best options.
What kit (there are several 600 nitro options in kit form!!)
What servos
What giro and tail servo
What engine/exhaust
I have a Spekky DX7 so just need another reciever.
Any other bits needed?
Thanks for replies.

My word what a big question!
There are so many answers, each of us have selected what works for us. What sort of flying are you doing? Mad 3deez or gentle 8's and circuits? What is your skill level?
These things will make a big difference to what will work for you

If thats the case, go for the gusto. 600 pro, futaba servos, 611 gyro, os hyper 50, GV1 gov, align 2 in 1. align muffler (no frame mods needed)
I just finished building my 600 standard. Already crashed it with minimal damage. I learned on a 450 v2 also. Lots of fun. I am still doing 8s and what not. along way from 3d. Good luck to you. But if there is no budget get the best of everything.

Well you think you are excited now, wait till you actually fly it. The 450 will become a paperweight. :D
I would start with this combo and build from there.

+1 but i'd do either a spartan DS760 + 8900G, or a JR 7703D an 8900G. 611/9256 is old school and their are better gyro's w/ better performance for cheaper (yes i still love my 611 though)

Second vote for the readyheli combo. Mine has a bit cheaper cyclic servos and the thing rocks. Crashed my 450 a lot but started flips and loops on my 6 flight or so on the 600N pro. So much more stable, powerful and confidence inspiring IMO

I think he means "limited funds".

I think he means "limited funds".
Why would you think he meant limited funds?
I don't have a budget so just tell me the best options.

Oops, I guess I misinterpreted that statement as "I don't have the budget for top of the line stuff".

From what I've heard, the JR G770 performs as well as or better than the GY611 and it's at a price that's competitive with the GY401 as well as being roughly the size of a 401, i.e. there's no bulky amplifier to mount like there is for the 611. For my 600N, there's about a 99% probability that I'll go with the G770/8900 combo.
The newest kid on the block gyro-wise is the SpartanRC DS760, which is getting rave reviews. It's almost infinitely configurable, which is OK if you like to tweak gyro settings but I don't have a need or desire to do that. Plus, for the cost of just the gyro, you can almost pay for the entire G770/8900 combo.
As for cyclic servos, I would agree with most everybody above and go with the Futaba S9452 (my likely choice) or JR DS8717. The throttle servo doesn't need to be blazingly fast (although you don't want a poky one either) and doesn't need to be high torque, so I think a Futaba S3151 (also my likely choice) would be quite sufficient.

I don't know anything about the tail servo and the cyclic servos are previous generation (replaced in Futaba's line by the S9452), but it looks like a really nice setup. It's interesting that they don't mention a throttle servo; I presume you'd have to buy that separately.

No mention of a battery or 2-in-1 Also have to budget for a Rx.
I put my 600N together for £800 all in with GY611 and 9452's.
