OK boys lets go to continue the thread here.
I have searched other DB and this seems to be best and calm. The perfect thing is the chat room, there we can discus any problem with the conversion online.
The first important question is: Going to post banner at front page . Is here some skilled graphic designer to help with banner please ?

To ALL: Why I came here?
I have long thread at runryder.com here http://runryder.com/helicopter/t372541p1/
614 reply 12938 View at this moment. Lots people put lots effort to participate at that topic. When I opened the thread, truly to say, I had no idea what gasser is about.. For me is the topic treasure - gasser university. And I know, is not only me who learned a lot about gassers in this topic in such a short time .
All about the exciting gasser I learned from people on that topic. I have sold first conversions - was very happy - all works fine and asked Mark Ryder for price to post banner at front page. Answer was quick: Prepare banner and paypal USD 75 a month.
Than I posted last message to the topic : " The zaptor kit club will be first in Australia 10 kits already sent there." Shortly after that topic was closed and become red. Asked Mark WHY? "Another maker reported you, there is no appeal don't post any more posts your account will be banned and locked out after you read this message. And it was done in few minutes.
Summary: Some of competitors asked Mark Ryder to prevent sell Raptor gasser conversion. Mark did it quickly even the advertising agreement was done. I spent 2 days looking around and checking environment at other BD and as you can see, the winner is HF.
Believe i have sufficiently answered all questions.

OK now I know who you are. You use to go by Aeroomni and sell blades and such on Ebay.
Anyone that wants to can do a search for Aeroomni on some of the other forums. Would be interested in hearing the results of the search.

OK - the deal with sir Will James is done. My role in Aeroomni is stated clearly in my homepage. Even as part time employee in company who does not exist on the helimarket any more, my reputation is damaged. No doubt about it. Now is new situation, no investors behind me, my own account, my product to sell, my full responsibility for all what I do in future. The Will James decision is: I can stay just as member , not alowed to advertise until I prove I can do good business and fully respect my costumers. Very good, thanks for it! Looks like both sides at same frequency.
HF prefers clean and friendly environment more that the "American dream" and as stated at my homepage, I have my own job and for me is more important to sell one conversion and help the builder to get the heli airborne, than sell hundred of them and just watching poor results..
Thanks to Will James and his friends who helped with these decisions above.

Have same opinion and experience, but I have 3 cases when gasser beginners cooked new engine only for luck of experience and trying hurry up to fly. I have now one engine still in box laying in shelf. So I want to find some way how to teach the people work with the engine out of the heli. Because if the engine in the heli, you want to fly and fly and loosing control about your self:) I remember my feelings when i started to fly the gassers no too long ago:) I believe it is perspective way how to save lots problems for the gasser beginners - teach them or let them give chance to learn to work with the engine on the ground first. My idea is to disassemble the fan with tapered hole and use it like propeller mount to run the engine on the stand at least one gallon of fuel.... This will help to sort out the problems with first problems around starting the engine. So, it can be very helpful to many people.

Congrats for the first jump:) Makes me happy.) Super go ahead ! I replied your mail with list of activities on the air... Keep going and post experience for others please. Since yesterday is on Ebay starting price 249. search "raptor conversion" there. Only people who have the kit successfully finished can sell it around - be distributors. Nobody else - not accepting offers from shop owners and not even planing to do..

No need to run a new engine with an airplane propellor on it. First it is not the same as it running in the heli. The cooling of the engine is different, so the needles will be different in the heli. I recommend just running the engine in the heli, set the mixture a little rich and go from there.

OK agree fully. But still have feeling it has to be done at least for one tank at the stand. The gasser beginners needs to become familiar with the bit different engine. On the stand is much easier and faster to learn the needles, get knowleedge how to install the fuell lines, start the engine etc.. The most important thing, it is much more secure to play with the really strong engine at stand than on the heli.. As I see just after short time, the people repeating same errors: wrong needle setup , wrong fuel tube instalation, trying to connect the tank to escape in order to get pressured tank , (very dangerous) no or not proper contact betwen coil base and engine ground etc... Of course, the best thing is to have gasser-experienced friend at the field... But everybody know how the situation with gasser is at this moment... Hard to find some experienced hand around.....

FAQ: Generator Looks like a great location and a real clean setup is for sale already?
OK, so situation at this moment:
Have changed for better diode type in rectifier board - will be here in 3-4 days
Waiting for couplers already week but still not here - thing 1-2 days
And the most important thing - the manual
I been waiting when first buyer finish and test my installation
- is successfully done by Fixit - it works perfect. I just added the result here http://*********.com/html/manual_*********_page6.html
So, is time to mark the pieces by item numbers and create the detailed manual and part list. Hope all the parts will be at me desk by end of this week and I will be able to publish the manual by Monday. Anyway - Raja is here the king of generators - got big help form him as well. If you don’t want to wait, you can order the BEC generator and rectifier form Raja and I can supply just the shaft connection and stand with carbon base. Not sure but for Raja is not big deal to copy the stand assembly from me and sell it. I don’t care.. Or maybe I can do some deal with Raja send him few stand kits assembly in exchange for generator. Going to PM Raja now.

The easiest solution would be to make a generator mount for your conversion kit and sell it with that as an option for people who want it. Then I will be happy to sell those people generator kits so they can just bolt it into your mount and go. The mount is yours and your design so you should get credit/sales for that. I'll just get the credit/sales for my generator invention and be happy with that!

Here you go - can be sent in 2 days to you ;) Lots people asking for ALU as well. This is not problem as well since the new CNC is almost ready to work and produce alu parts - just aligning it now.... Till now was simple solution: I used to buy the OEM sides, tuned it up = added holes to mount engine and supports. Anyway, carbon keeps to be number one material - there is not a competition for.. As you can see on the picture, I can cut any part for any heli project. When you send me DXF file with offset 0,8 (using 1,6 mill bit) I don't charge for design editing. It has to be true vectors nod dots lines (Corell etc..) Repeating, ONLY heli parts please not cars etc.. If somebody here interested to make car/buggy parts - don't hesitate to PM me, have quiet lot requests for this type of job. Gladly pass the jobs to you..

would the g10 version be less expensive in kit form?
Zaptorgasser
02-17-2008, 12:39 AM
Yes USD 50 less or if you you win Ebay auction you can have carbon version for lower price as well .
