My trottle keeps cutting to idle for a split second in flight and then goes back to normal. I am not sure if the entire system is losing power or its just the trottle going to idle. It happens so quick that i am not able to tell if i still have control of the other servoes. I am running a GV-1 governor, align 2 in 1 regulator, os engine, jr receiver, jr7202 radio, all 9252 servoes. Has anyone had this experience?

If I have to guess it is from your GV-1. Did it cut off while you were pumping the collective while in normal mode? Your throttle stick my have gone below the 1/4 stick mark which in turns cuts off the governor.

I eliminated the governor and it still did it. I guess the next step is to eliminate the 2 in 1 and see what happens.

Hello Jam Rock;

What is your fail-safe setting on your radio?? Sound to me your radio system is going into the fail-safe mode. On my DX7 system, my fail-safe mode is for the throttle to go to throttle cut, and all the other servo's goes to neutral. If it is the Align 2 n 1 than you will have no power and if that is the case, than you will not have any fail-safe.
BTW, How is the weather??? Lots of sunshine I bet!!! Luck you!!!!!
Keep us up date on what you find!!

Here in Jamaica, the weather is GREAT as usual!! I changed the receiver and that didn't solve the problem. We are going to try changing the servo next.......I will keep you posted! Thanks for your input!

It has been well documented that the Align 2in1 regs are garbage.

I've seen a few problems with the 2in1, normal symptom is glitching from ALL servos at once.

The normal (non 2in1) 6amp regs are developing problems also it seems.
These ones...... (http://www.wattsuprc.com.au/product_detail.asp?pid=K10382A)

I struck a faulty one on a friends R50 2 weeks ago. It had performed flawlessly for 3 months prior.

I'll stick to my trusty Fromeco Arizona Regs thanks ;)
