If you order 1 or 2 cases in gallon jugs. It is going to cost $20 per case Hazmat fee plus the shipping charges to ship it UPS.
Most places that sell fuel prefer to ship at least 3 cases and up. That is because they will ship it by truck line.
1 case of fuel shipped by UPS will cost at least $50 shipping charges. That is including the $20 hazmat fee and then ever what the shipping charges are on top of that.
Now you can order fuel in Quart containers and there is no hazmat fee. You can order 100 quarts of fuel and have it shipped with no hazmat fee. But if there is a gallon container of fuel in the shipment, there is going to be hazmat fee.
Don't ask why they do it that way, but that is the way it is.
Not just fuel, the same goes for paint also.
