is it possible to use a 3 cell pack instead of a 2 cell pack on a cx2...it seems to me a 3 cell pack would make for much longer flight times. do they even make a 3 cell with some of the same discharge rates and amps. as a two cell....wouldnt want to fry the motors or 3 in 1.....

Going one more cell increases the voltage 3.7 volts. It does not increase the capacity of the pack. Only way to increase capacity by adding a cell is to have it wired paraelle and not in series;
Series increases voltage
Paraelle increases capacity.
