I have had great results after removing the o-rings from the spidle shaft and replacing them with a set of main bearings used in the top & bottom of the main frame. You must use the proper amount of the little shoulder washers between the bearing & the blade holder so there is no slop but also no drag. Be sure the shoulder on the washer faces inward toward the new bearing you installed or you will have the dreaded "STICKY COLLECTIVE". Done properly, this little mod will result in the almost total disappearance of sliding around while in hover. Also, it is VERY important to adjust the main rotors so they fly EVEN. These two ajustments alone will give you a whole new love for your blade. Hope this helps.
2-10-08 Correction. The exact washer use on this setup is following. I use (1) shoulder washer between the center hub & the blade grip with the shoulder facing the blade grip bearing. Then I use only the small non shoulder washer on the blade grip retaining bolt. This combination eliminates any extra play and at the same time insures free rotation of the grips on their own bearings. Suggest a touch of blue Loctite on the retaining bolt threads.
