Need a BEC witn an ESC?

Hi there

Just wondering if I'd need a BEC with a Jazz 55-10-32 if I wasn't planning on using an Rx battery?

I was thinking of adding a Hercules HC BEC considering I'll have a 10s LiPo in the mix.

I would go with a BEC. They are good insurance. Just buy the best one you can get and get high amperage one. 3.5a or more. I do not know your specific setup so these suggestions are general. I will always run separate switching BECs.
