I was recently given the opportunity to review RC-TEK’s prototype carbon fiber blades. These are custom designed blades and will be available soon.
These blades are constructed beautifully with great care taken in the way they look. They balance right out of the package and even dynamically balanced on a < 1mm flat edge. They are extremely stiff I would dare to say some of the stiffest blades available. They fly extremely well. Although they are a bit on the heavy side and do load the head a little more than some of the more expensive CF blades but only on EXTREME tic toc and etc.
Any RC-TEK customer can tell you RC-TEK does nothing that is not by design and I feel the need to reiterate these are not the official production blades yet.
My overall rating is excellent and I would look forward to buying these blades again.
P.S. Last picture is of them on the Sky Shark the bird they were designed for.
Here's a poor video of them. Trex 450SE v2 with -6 V2 motoro 11t pinion. Sean from SCV is the pilot.
