Venom Night Ranger 3D XL help!

I'm trying to fix this "heli" for a local guy, and there's a slight problem with the head.... The fybar carrier rub against the mixing arms, no way to connect the "hoop" links. Is it possible that Venom has modified their design? ( that's new parts that were installed after a crash). I don't have the original parts. Or maybe is the head mounted incorrectly??? I'm trying to compare with the diagram in the manual but I see nothing too obvious.

Looks like you have a rod in the wrong place. Could you add a few more pics from different angles? Hard to tell with just one pic! The hoops should hook onto the flybar cage, not that rod. I'm probably wrong, but like I said though, it's hard to tell with the pic given.

So, did it have different parts on there after all, or did Venom change the part a bit?

The guy on the phone didn't want to say if it was a bad batch of parts or what. He said he remembered a guy he helped who had that same problem. He told me what to do, and said if I wanted to buy new parts he'd modify them before sending them to me.


So I'd say it's either a bad batch of parts, or maybe a design change (where old parts wouldn't mix with newer parts....)

Sems fishy to me! Well, there's a good reason I try to stay away from the knock-off brands! At least you got it fixed:shock:
