I know there's a way to use them together. I just bought a CX2 with the AR6100E reciever. I can't seem to find the guide online for the setup. Anyone know where I can find it? Thanks.

Search Google for "Blade CX2 binding to a DX7 Transmitter".

I didn't use a guide, but there are some out there. Here's my setup:
I have a CX2 that has the BladeCX2.com modifications, so YMMV.
Model: Heli
Swash Mode: 1 Servo
Exponential: +25% on Aileron, Elevator and Rudder (Makes for easy indoor flying)
Reverse: Aileron, Rudder and Elevator
Full down trim on the throttle channel (This is needed for initialization)
All other settings are DX7 default. You do need to bind your xmitter and receiver; the bind plug came with the CX2.

So I selected a model in the DX7 tx - I named it "CX2." I then turned off the tx. Plugged in the blind plug. Plugged in the battery and both the red light on the esc and the orange light in the 4-to-1 started blinking. I then turned on the tx - model 2 CX2 and waited, and waited, and waited for more than 10 minutes and both lights kept on blinking. What's wrong? Thanks.

Set your throttle trim to zero, then the blinking should become solid green after a few seconds.
I set -15% in my throttle subtrim menu and now it initializes perfect everytime. This is on a X9303, but I´m sure it´s the same....

I binded the CX2 to the Dx7, finally. In step 2, after installing the bind plug and connect the battery, I then followed step 4. on page 19 of the DX7 manual, which required you to press and hold the bind button on the back of the tx while turning on the power switch. The button is pressed until after both lights are solid.
