I'm getting a 600 soon but can't decide between leccy or nitro, I'm thinking more nitro because of flying time and not having to charge batteries etc, can I just ask the flight time between both?

IE: flight time for a leccy with good batteries and a nitro with a full tank?

5 minutes for the E machine, 10-15 on the wet version, depending on setup.

It depends on the size of your packs and your flying style. One of the guys I fly with, whose an intermediate sport flyer, has a 600E and gets 7 minutes of flight time on a 5000 mAh pack.

my flying style, "intermediate 3D"

5 mins electric
8 1/2 to 9 mins nitor w/ fuel still left in the tank for about 5 auto's.

I get about 7 1/2 minutes a tank on my 600N. I used to get 4 1/2 minutes on my 600E on 5000mAh packs. I finally dumped all my electrics in favor of nitros. I preferred the electrics as they were cleaner and had gobs of power, but I got tired of charging packs all the time. Plus there is no substitute in my opinion for the sound or smell of nitro engines.

I started with a nitro and would never look back, I fly it at the club. At the same time I bought a small Mini Titan to throw around the local park when I can't get to the club or just to releive the stress after work. You'll end up with more than one heli, its an obsession not a hobby, try both when you can. Smaller elecs are great to practice 3D as your not so freightened to bend it. Thats my 2 cents worth.

Well I have a 450 V2 and just ordered a 500 so I'll probably get a 600 nitro to complete the set later in the year, lol

Well later on you can get the 600E to complete the fleet, but don't wait too long or you'll have to add the 700 to the list.
