OEM Mounting plate

I've tried to remove mounting plate w/ no luck including heating it. What do I do now? The screw heads have started to strip. Please help.

An electric screwgun with adjustable torque setting sometimes helps.

Or, hold the plate in a vise, use a pointed punch and hammer to turn the screws(in the rght direction of course). Once they're loose they spin pretty easy.

Drill the heads off using a 1/4 drill. Once the heads pop off, remove the plate and use visegrip pliers to remove the rest of the screw from the engine.

This difficulty is why we remove the plate before putting the engine in a kit.
