After immediately crashing by Blade 400, (in pieces), I painstakingly rebuilt it piece by piece, reading threads, watching videos, measuing, etc.. Well today, I slowly gave some throttle and it lifted smoothly into the air and with a little right aileron, sat there about six inches off the ground for about ten seconds, then things started getting a little wobbly, over reacting to changes in pitch and roll, so i cut back the throttle to center and she dropped down. Man, it felt so good after all of that work. I did it a few more times for about five minutes, then my nerves had had it, it was in one piece so called it a day. Now back to the simulator. Thanks for all the information here and bob's videos. There is no instructions for building the blade 400, just an exploded parts view. So now I'm half blind studying the little blurry schematic, but it works. When I had let someone fly it before I destroyed it the first time, they said the tail was terrible and couldn't get it dialed in. So I bought a 401 and futaba 9257 servo. In the little hovering I accomplished, about a minute total, the tail never moved. Thanks again, I couldn't have done it without this forum.

I'm have to say congrats. I have a Blade CP and a Shuttle ZX but with the price of crash repair I'm more likely to continue learning with the CP. But the 401 that is on the Shuttle I'm sure will be sweet. Continue the learning . I wish I had a 400
