I'm being plagued by a twitchy tail. I have a 9650 on a 401

I've grounded the motor mount to Battery -ve

I've used 2 layers of foam tape under the servo

I've got my servo horn at 11mm, giving me full throw at 80-90 on the limit pot.

I've sprayed silicone up the tail pipe (a lot!)

All the above have **nearly** eliminated the twitch, but not quite.

Gain is at 35% - a whole lot lower than a 401 in my 450 & 600.

My question is this: What happens if you run a digi servo with the DS switch off?

I was going to try this tomorrow before I go ahead and try a standard tail servo as recommended by Trevor Burley (Align UK test pilot).

TIA
Mark

Your speed will degrade and you will use less Amps.

But... buy yourself a S9257, this baby rocks and is made for the gyro (like GY401)! The S9650 is outdated and actually not made for a gyro. I know it cost some bucks, but it is absolutly worth it.

OK, didn't know that. I have a 9257 on a 450, so I'll swap that and give it a go tomorrow,
