Can this charger charge 2 different 3S batteries starting at different times? I know it has a sync mode to connect the 2 ports to charge (2) 3S batteries of the same capacity and used together in a 6S pack but thats not what I need. I would like to fly my heli, put the first dead one on the charger and go fly the second pack. then charge the second pack on the other port. If possible. I know the new Cellpro 10S has to be started at the same time. But I think it only has one port.

Or can u charge a NiMH on one port and a LiPO on the other port?

I see the only disadvantage could be that it wont cycle charge/discharge NiCD or NiMH.

"Can this charger charge 2 different 3S batteries starting at different times?" -> Yes
"Can u charge a NiMH on one port and a LiPO on the other port?" -> Yes
The Hyperion EOS 0610i DUO has two independent charging units with integrated balancers (2 x 180W). You can use them absolutely independent of each other (2 x 6S) but if needed you can connect them via SYNC mode to charge up to 12S batteries.
There is no discharge or cycle option with this charger.

Even though I miss the discharge feature the DUO has easily become my favorite charger. I will be buying a second one before the boating/Heli season starts here in NY.

any one know if its possible to balance charge two 3s packs of each charge port meaning you would be able to charge 4 3s packs at the same time?
the two pairs of 3s could be connected in series so the charger would think it was charging two separate 6s packs?
Any one know if this is possible?
Thanks

I have since spoken to a couple suppliers and although this setup is not supported by hyperion directly it is perfectly possible to do as all you are doing is fooling the charger into thinking it is connected to two 6s packs
so YES it can be done
I have yet to convince the wife of the importane of the Duo to our life so as yet i dont have one myself!!
