Hello,
currently I'm setting up a 3dx/hdx500 sah , so with the smaller servo cut-outs on the frame.
Now I've mounted HS-81MG on the swash, which are left from another chopper. Are these capable for 3D with a headspeed of about 2400rpm ?
I cannot fly 3D yet (will I ever ....) because lack of skills ..... but like to know if I should already look around for other (digital) servo's , stronger ? faster ?

I would appreciate your advice, thanks

greetings from a sunny europe (at the moment ...)

I am running hs-85mg's and I can flip and roll just fine your's should be fine. If your talking extreme 3d where it looks like it's on crack then a digital servo will probably be a better setup for that. but for the majority of flyers your setup will be spot on

Do the HS-85MG's fit in the SAH chassis ??? I thought they where deeper than the HS-81's .....

they fit no problems they are a little deeper than 81's. but they do not touch the other side of the frame with the tabs mounted on the inside of the frame.

I was beating on my yesterday with HS85's and they work, a bit sloppy but they will 3D.
