View Full Version : 500T gyro ok with 6v?

I've seen that in manual is says 4.8v, but a friend said it would be ok with 6v. I'm going to be running the Align regulator in my TREX600N and would prefer to use 6v as the JR DS 8317 servo can handle 6v and is quicker then. Don't want to fry the gyro though, so wanted to ask the people who know more than my friend.

Some people have run the gyro on 6V with no problems and others have fried the gyro trying that.

Myself, I wouldn't do it just to be safe.
