Hallo,
I am using the CC35 and I am not satisfied with the Govenor!
On hard pitch the ESC does not hold the rotor speed!
I am running the JGF 500TH with 22C LiPo packs, throttle 75% open with 2700 head speed.
Setup is done like shown in Bob's CC85HV Video!
Is it better to run the CC35 ESC with a throttle curve?
I also have the problem that the tail goes right ( ~10cm) on hard pitch (LTG-2100T)
Thanks
Libelle

I can't give you an answer to the governor or not question, but you would think something with the power of the 500TH could hold RPM. For the tail, have you tried bumping your RPM up to 2900 or so? Your tail with have considerably more authority. There is a reason Finless and others are always saying "more headspeed". If you are pulling hard pitch maneouvers, you should up your headspeed some.

Hi everyone,
still fighting with my setup!
I have set up the CC35 once again like Bob shows in his videos!
At 75% throttle with Fxed End Points I get a desired headspeed of 2700 what makes at Govenor High a 50% flat courve!
When hoovering I feel the motor pumps a little bit and the heli stays not as calm as in Fixed End Points mode. I also get a little Tail wag which can't be compensated with the gain setting of the Gyro (LTG-2100T 63% gain / Servo S9257)
I am running a 15 teeth pinion at the moment.
Motor and ESC stays cool but my LiPos get warmer than in Fixed End Points mode!!
Here are my CC35 Settings:
Motor Timing: High Advance
Hex55: 85
Brake Strength: 0
Throttle Response: 5
Brake Delay: No Delay
Cutoff Voltage: Auto Li-Po (*)
Throttle Type: Heli: Governor High
Direction: Forward (*)
Current Limiting: Normal (*)
Governor Gain: 20 (is a little bit better as 50)
Cutoff Type: Soft Cutoff
Motor Start Power: 59
Brake Ramp: Super Slow
PWM Rate: 13khz (*)
Spool-Up Speed: 8
How do I get my CC35 Governor to work right?
I hope someone can help me to get a perfect setup for my Bird!
Thanks
Martin

Hallo,
for everyone who has problems with the Governor of the CC35 there is a simple solution for this problem!
It took hours then I switched back to the firmware 1.55 and now I have a perfect working Governor and all my tail problems are gone, LTG-2100T works perfect.
No tail kicking on hard pitch, now its real fun to fly :)
So don't use Firmware 1.56 (Beta) when using the Governor!
