Gyro gain on DX7 - help please

Guys,

I'm going mad - how do I set gyro gain on my DX7 working to an AR6100 - I have the gyro connected to the rudder channel and the gain cable into the Gear channel. I want to use the Gear switch to switch between Rate / HH - how do I do this please - I'm going mad - I can't find the screen where I adjust the Gear setting.

You use the channel reversal screen to set the switch direction up or down for HH for which ever way you like it and you use the ATV setting on the Gear channel for the Gain setting on the gyro. I have mine at 60% on both the + and - directions. Use the smallest servo arm hole setting like 8mm for most throw you can set on the 401 gyro pot to get good resolution movement on the tail slider. There is a screen in the DX7 where you set Gear to Gear and Aux2 to Aux2. Now the gain is controled by the gear switch, use channel reversal for switch direction prefered for HH.
