Hey Erich,
what the heck is that vehicle in your garage? Aren't those the new tires they are putting out that don't need air? Love to see a whole pic of it?

It's just some all-terrain ground vehicle we had here for a bit. Sorry no pics.
They are neat tires though. Pretty stiff, actually.

Here is my Baby, she's getting quite old now, probably 9 or 10 years.
I bet some of you guys have never seen some of the ORIGINAL parts that were on her !
I've put a few upgrades on since, including new lower side frames to give support to the pull start mechanism, upgraded plastic T/R gearbox to open metal type.
Original T/R grips were plastic, now metal
Bergen Intrepid Gasser
Zenoah G23 engine, Hanson modified ? Velocity stack on carb
Main Blades NHP Carbon 720mm
T/R blades ? Carbon 110mm
Carbon fan shroud
Ball bearing balancer of back of fan, Canfield balancer ?
Century Torpedo V2 muffler, V1 kept falling off
JR Radio, 9ch pcm Rx NER 649 PCM
Gyro Futabab G401 with S9253 servo, push pull arrangement (Gyro setup to be changed shortly)
Collective servo ACE DS1313
Cyclic servo JR NES 4321
Throttle servo JR NES517
Rx battery 4 cell NiMH 3700mAh subC
New T/R bell crank FOC from Bergen, thank you !
She will be getting some TLC and will be out flying again soon.
I will be trying out Futaba's GY611 and BL251 brushless servo on the rudder, and experimenting with the magical Zeal green goop tape.
Still looking for a Top-Head Button ? P/N 7015 Bergen DOH !

How'z that body working out for ya? We ordered a body set with our first Observer EB, but decided not to use it, since we fiddle with our stuff too much.

Hi eric,I went with the body on my observer mainly for visibility reasons,I have a hrd time seeing it when it is way up there it looks like a black spot with out it to me.
I dont mine having to take it off to charge batterys or to work on it,I am goeing to cut some of the lower front part off for easyer access.

You have to take off the canopy to charge the batteries??? You must be missing the Jewel of Raja!

I just purchased and built this one this spring. Hanson pro plus, JR3711's and one of Raja's sweet gen's.. I live close enough to Chris (about 3 hours) that he was able to help me with setup and maiden flight. Now THATS customer service!

Just got back from burning 4 tanks with the new Century V3 pipe. A few tweaks to the carb and it seems to be running pretty smooth again.

Hey Koal I'm not sure what it is or where it came from.I bought the original machine an EB from a guy in Denmark.I've since had my way with it and now rebuilt to standard Intrepid.Pretty much brand new now.
