Is it just me?, or is anyone else having problems finding carbon fiber for the 400?
I've got orders in to two vendors, three weeks now and no blades....
Yikes! I'm gonna have to get some faucet washers and put on the (*Aliegn*) blades!!!

It's not you, they are not available yet.
All you had to do was check the Horizon site.
They are not due to be released until "late March".

I installed the Align 325 Carbon Fiber Blades on my CP400. I had to add 2 small washers in the grip, but they work very well. It made the performance more stable and have a pretty cool sound too...

Thanks for the heads-up! (guess I was'nt smart enough to order from Horizon, where at least they let you know it's not yet available ;-) I've already got a set of glass 450 blades and will try the washer trick. I'm told that the Blade uses 6.somthing thickness at the root and the Trex is closer to 4. I'll just go get a set of CNC milled aviation grade washers at Home depot....
Also, I had in interesting conversation at my LHS. Seems the local Trex drivers got sorta p/o ed at the managment as they are stocking a full rack of Blade stuff and hardly any Trex now. Nice to see the Blade is looking to be popular, but I wanna Trex after I've beat up my Blade. Surely there is enough shelf space for both plastic and cnc stuff.

Go get some nylon washers and Home Depot, about 1/4", with about a two mm hole in the center (jeez, I must enjoy mixing up measuring units).
They are light, will fit the Alieng blades pretty well and keeps a smooth, but tight fit on the blades. Hot setup so far...
.... Ahh, if only my carbon would get outta backorder ;-)
