i guess i just don't see how one of those will help to level the swash any better then the eyeball method. the only swash leveler that makes sense to me is the one that looks like a big washer with a piece taken out with two bubble levels on it. how does the one you linked to work?

I use it more to take out ccpm interactions rather than just to level.
Leveling at 0 is just the first step. From there you will level at full travel ( + & - ) by adjusting ATV's, that way the swash stays level throughout its range.
Sure you can do this with the older style bubble levels but with this style you are sure its 90 to the main shaft.

only if the swash is of a similar diameter, but you could also buy one that's actually made for the hurricane 550 >> http://www.helidirect.com/product_info.php?cPath=322&products_id=6212
