My LHS sold me the wrong DX7. I got the air model. It is my fault for not researching it, but he said he had two heli's and this was the one to get.
Anyway...i moved the gear switch and the flap mix switch. there was barely enough wire to do it, but it works without strain on the wires. i had to put the nut and lock washer on the gear switch, and the flap mix switch just goes on with the nut from the front. i used a needlenose pliers to unscrew the nut from the front. i did put a small scratch on the face around the nut, but now it looks broken in a little.

P.S. make sure you keep track of the switch positions when you swap them, or you'll be taking the back off again like me.
