ok, so when i bind my rx there is a failsafe built into the rx that remembers the last position of the tx sticks right.

what do i do if i want 0 pitch and 0 throttle for my failsafe?
because right now when my pitch is at 0 my throttle is like at 60%.
do i have to turn down my throttle curve to set the failsafe and then turn it back up when im done binding?

On the DX7 yes. The failsafe is whatever your stick positions are during binding. If you have to create a new curve and make it 0 pitch and 0 throttle all the way across the board then bind. Or if you can make sure you're in normal mode instead of idle 1 or 2 and bind in normal mode. If at low throttle you're pitch isn't 0... change it to 0 then change back to your original setting. I think the other servos keep their last known movement.

Failsafe starts at 1:45

I beleive the failsafe is only on the throttle channel...not all channels...Thats how it is on my dx-7

Throttle only is what mine is also.

The failsafe memorizes all servo positions during binding, but only goes back to low throttle if it loses signal in the air. If you turn it on and it doesn't find a signal, it goes tothe full fail-safe settings i.e. all controls got to the bind point.

JR/Spektrum uses the term fail safe for two DIFFERENT condtions.

1) Rx powers up but has not linked to the Tx - Rx outputs the bound position to all channels, except the Throttle, which gets NO signal.

2) Everything is up and running, but Rx loses the Tx signal (traditional failsfe) - the Throttle goes to where it was at binding. All other channels hold their last position.

The BR6000 Rx (DSM) sets fail safe (#2 above) for all channels.

The 9 ch Rxes can be set the normal way or with actually setting each control for its fail safe position.

So bottom line, for binding, set all controls to your normal startup with the throttle full low stick.
