Are there any list on routine maitenance? I just want to get into a good practice for the following:

-pre-flight check
-post flight check
- when to break down the heli for overall inspection
------ie. number of flights before inspecting bearing (excluding crashes)

Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks, must of missed the video.

Yup, live in MD.

Been flying with the guys that work at Hanger Hobby, Chantilly Va. They fly real close to the shop. It's real nice when the owner comes out to fly with you and brings you replacement parts for your crash in his back pocket, if you catch him before he leaves shop. :noteworthy.

Might want to check this social group out. Jrohland flies in Arlington and has been trying to get flyers together.

Not to hijack the thread, but I too am another Marylander. Seem's like we have a few eh? I know Pinecone is just North of Baltimore.

I'm in Pasadena....near Glen Burnie.

Any of you guys ever go to the MHA field? (Maryland Helicopter Association). I've been there once...pretty nice. They have fun fly's as well. The upcoming one is in June.

Take Care!

I've thought about joining. I just don't know how often I'd be able to make the trek out that way. Stupid D.C. is in the middle of the drive. So I'd have to go around the "torture" way know as the 495 Beltway. lol

Trying to convince the wife. The next house needs to have 5+ open acres of land away from neighbors. :smokin:

that 495 beltway SUCKS big time. on the ride home from virginia beach last summer, i was sleeping and my gf somehow got us pretty far off course. i've never in my life seen that much traffic, and i don't care to ever again!
