In reading the 611 manual I find that the GV-1 requires a separate line (gear ch?) to turn the gov on - off, besides the throttle position under 20%. I also see that the rpm must be set to 1000 or higher. Does this mean that if I set the rpm at 999 the gov will remain off. The reason I ask is that with my Curtis ATG I use my Aux 2 (3 pos sw) to control rpms. With the sw dwn the gov is off no matter where the flight mode sw is. In the middle the head speed is governed to 1750 and all the way up is set for 1950. Is it possible to set the GV-1 in the same manner without using the GV-1's on-off signal line.
