Where do you guys get that sponge type thing to wrap the battery and the receiver? Do they sell that at the hobby shop? :glasses2:

Thanks David. It took a lot for me to ask this question and look ignorant, but I really needed to know. :glasses2:

Asking questions is what this place is all about, and NONE of them are stupid.

Have you considered getting one of the QUK RX Strongbox (http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=heli&Product_Code=QUK008&Category_Code=QUK/) to protect your RX? I like them because they keep your RX Crystal in tight as well as all your servo connectors in place. Will it save your RX in a crash...well the jury is still out on that one.

The Velcro straps like you see in the photo came from Home Depot.

With everyone going to optical mouse now days, mouse pads arereadily available for free from your friends who dont need them any more. Most of them are made of the exact same material that Hitec includes with their RX.
