can anyone help. I am trying to set the gain travel on my DX7. I can set the plus level but the pointer will not move to the negative side. This is all part of the difficulties I am having with a csm 420 gyro on my T REX. Being very new to this I am sure that I am doing something stupid and any help would be much appreciated

flip the gear switch position, it should move the cursor to the other value for adjustment.

Thanks, I tried that as it seemed the most logical thing but nothing moves the curser to the other value

try the rudd d/r switch.
On the other hand, look at the monitor screen and see whether the channel you have the gain plugged into is actually moving, AUX2 or gear position on the rx should give you the change. You may be expecting it in one place and find it in the other..
