Hi!

The winter is almost over here in Denmark, not that we really had a winter this year.....wonder why.....maybe too little electrical motors in the world :-)...anyway.....a new season has started, and was out flying with the Ion-X2 again.

IT STILL FLIES GREAT :-)......but.....in order to get 12deg pitch range without any bindings etc. I found that I had to move the wasout mixer a little up by changing the length of the control rods a little from what is written in the manual.

So changes as follows.

- Long Bell Mixer rod is changed from 61mm to 59mm

- Flybar conrtrol rods are changed from 9mm to 6mm

- Pitch control rods C1 changed from 20mm to 23mm

- Elevator control rod E1 changed from 12mm to 16mm

And the rest is changed to give 90 deg. angles.

Well, you might find that your Ion-X2 needs some slightly different lengths, but the general idea is to move up the washout mixer to make wider pitch range possible, and at the same time ensure there is no bindings with any links at full deflection.

PS. I use a servo "wheel" on the right stick to ensure no extreme deflections in the four corners.
