We have an order for 5 twins getting ready to go out the door...
In order to keep them all straight, each with their own radio, we color coded them.
Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Blue, White, and Black.

If I give you my address, will you send one this way?

Hey Chris,
Are these all for one customer?
Also what do people use the industrial twin for mainly?

All going to one customer. As is usually the case, they wish to remain anonymous so don't ask....:)
These birds are meant for heavy lifting, over 15 lbs. Most are used for autonomous R&D, some are used for carrying sensors, air sampling equipment, large underslung camera mounts, sometimes all of the above!
We recently made a new run of, and an improvement to, the center disk that we use to make the Industrial Twin motors. That's a $5000 box....

Holy cow! Those are expensive crank type things! It looks like there's only about 100 of them in that box.
By the way, my school uses a couple of the twins for the reasons Chris mentioned, autonomous flight.

Dan, they fly sweet! There's no bogging that helicopter! Of course, with 8 hp, that should be a given :YeaBaby:

Hey Chris!
Should I send you 5 generators to mount on these? Those guys will definately benefit from a generator powered twin so it can sit in the air the whole tank of gas without them worrying about that on-board battery!
Probably should ask them if they want that option -- I'm sure if they knew about it they will surely get it.

It was mentioned to them when they placed the order. They didn't seem too inclined to spend much more extra money. They put 4131 and 4721 servos in them instead of the 8311's that we recommended.....

For offering the generator option to them. That's about all you can do! For now its a big bill with all those twins maybe down the road when they realize the need it they'll get one :)

A big bill is right, all together about $35,000!.....with extra stuff they did purchase, blades, radios, crash kits, etc, etc.
