T/T 70 Piston Failure

I have a T/T70 in a Vario Evo having put several hours on the engine it just quit in flight. After tearing it down i found the piston had detonated the corner of it. I ordered a new one and ring. Installed it Checked the mixture,s and away i went 14mins later flame out same thing. Ordered another piston. Upon closer inspection the three pistons had the ring locating dowel in different positions. Anyone else come across this??? They all had the same part number. The last one seems to be fine.

Sounds like very poor QC on their part, perhaps it's be a good time to change brands.
