Up until I got my DX7 for Christmas '07, I was using the cardboard box and styrofoam insert that the Blade CP originally came in for a carrying case for the heli + TX. However, the DX7 wouldn't fit in the "stock box" and the DX7 antenna was so fragile that I was really worried that I would break it if I didn't find a good way to transport it.

[1] What carrying case solution do you use?

I'm curious how other folks solve these same problems so I can learn some new tips / tricks.

[2] My solution:

I'll start it off the tread by sharing my solution which I think is pretty handy and inexpensive (currently on sale at Sears for only $9.88)! see attachment

For full description, more photos and link to actual item see my gallery (http://runryder.com/helicopter/mygallery.htm).

I picked up a WingTote bag and found it to be of very good quality, especially the zippers, which are usually the problem.

I got it for my cp, but i've since flipped the bottom sheet of foam sideways and oriented it diagonally in the bag, now I can fit my cp and 400 in the same case with the cp transmitter in one end pouch and the DX6 in the other.

The DX antenna just folds sideways, I've been toting it (sorry) around for a couple of months now with no problems.

$49.95 us and in stock at most Hobby Towns.

They say every time you crash a heli, a kitten dies...... well, I don't like cats much, I guess....
