I am also new to chargers. I have two 3S batteries that I would like to charge at the same time, seems like a very common task that users want to do but every time someone describes how to charge two packs it just sounds like more hassle than it's worth. Is it really the case that you should buy a separate charger for each battery if you want multiple charges going and is the BC6 still the right price point if all i'm charging is 3S?

thank you

It doesn't get simpler than 2 x Cellpro4s and a DC power supply. That will add up to about $200 but give you a safe and no fuss way to charge two batteries at once without worrying about series cables, 3s-to-6s balance adapter leads or whether it is a good idea to charge two packs in series.

And can you recommend a 12v power supply that is ready to go with the cellpro?

thanks for the replies

Hard to tell from that photo but the majority of no-name lipos use JST-XH balance leads so you would need one of these accessories for the BC6:

EAC124 for Align/Dualsky/Electrifly/E-Flight for PB-6 & BC-5, BC-6:

EAC144 for Align / Dualksy BC-6 & PB-6:

But really you should check with the vendor what kind of balance lead they use before ordering the adapters, or else order a full set of adapters so that you can accommodate any kind of battery in the future.

There is a new iMax B6 AC which has a built in AC adapter. About £50 to the UK on EBay. Any Comments guys from users of the prev iMax B6?
