Just wondering if there are any experienced heli flyers in or near Scottsdale, AZ?

I am new, and I own a ZOOM PRO 3D (just got it), and an ELITE 3DPRO (which I am sorry I purchased due to all the BS).

Haven't flown either yet but have the 3DPRO almost ready to go (what a nightmare the tail rotor and gearbox have been). I've been spending lots of time on my G2 flight sim with a downloaded copy of a TREX450 I got from the helihobby site... not doing too bad really. I'm not looking to do inverted or 3D flying on my first flight, just want to have a little fun flying around.

If there is anyone truly experienced nearby that could help me through getting my JR 8103 TX all set-up, I would be totally grateful.

You must be just starting out and just finding out the frustrations involved in this hobby

Keep at it, it will pay off. Get familiarized with your equipment, this hobby is not an overnight fling... If you don't have patience, save yourself the trouble, stop now, you might hurt yourself.

Asking local help is always the best way to go, and your doing that by posting this thread... Also, check if there are local clubs in your area, you don't have to join, check it out.. Heli. pilots are always quick to lend a helping hand.

Too bad your not local... I would have lend you that helping hand, good luck to you, and keep at it :)
