We had a great bunch of pilots here and it would be cool to see everyone back, no BS, just what's up and how's it going.

Everyone is welcome to post up positive stuff and what new heli's you have built and are flying. I'll post up my new stuff here, hope to see as many as possible back here.

Any issues will be delt with by PM.

Thanks and hope to see you all soon.

I maidened the Trex Scorpion V2 today, it didn't seem any more powerfull than the V1 but the V1 is plenty and rocks if you know how to use it. I need better blades since I"ve used up my best blades. I"ve got more on the way, as well as some of those really light CF flybar paddles, they are really light and fast.

He might? :smokin:

This is a clean slate and I hope it stays that way. IF ya gotta problem, use the pm function and work it out, if you gotta beef with somebody this isn't the place to air it.

I think most will come back, good group of pilots.

Mitch how about creating a social group and using this thread for invites? You can delete posts that way and I won't have to deal with it. Also you can invite people or disallow others. Then I will contribute to SCHC again.

I vote Mitch for president! I am a member of a local club and you should know going in that I would be a dual member.

MITCH for president = B*tch no resident!. Who's with me? He's got the sack, the brains and he is extremely well spoken.

Not that you cant do it here but why dont you have your own private group here on HF using the GROUP functionality (http://www.helifreak.com/group.php)?

You can send out invites, share pics, have a private thread, etc...

The group would have to agree. I mis the group also. There are a bunch of good guys here.

One thing is for sure, if you want to fly, you need AMA membership and Safety is number 1 priority. Period.

I was impressed with Tommy being a totally new pilot he was very stable and was flying within his skill level. Long flew it once and it is dialed in, good job on the set up Tommy.

Thumbs up dood. :smokin:

The Raptor had a "space shuttle moment". faaakkk.

Not sure if it was a boom strike or the head let go, had it up about 100 feet and flipped it backward and gave it full neg collective driving the tail out and it just blew up, the main rotor flew about 100yds away from where the heli landed, the blades flew down nice and smooth but did sustane damage from the boom stike. I've got most of the parts to fix it and the other stuff is real cheap. Sucks but not a big deal, at least I didn't dumb thumb it into the ground, I'd be more pissed if I did that.....here are the carnage pics.......................................

I don't think it even bent the mainshaft but everything will get checked before it goes up again. Was probably a boom strike since it had stock dampers in it. Won't happen again.

It'll be all fixed up better than it was in no time.

There were so many pieces flying all directions it was hard to keep track. :YeaBaby:

Wish I would of had my video crew there (Wendy).

We'll be getting the video deal on track and be posting vids instead of pics. :cheers

looks like the plastic head split in half in one of the pics, that could have been the cause, me and Jim witnese one of my heli's explode on spool up do to week plastic parts, if i was you I'll upgrade to a metal head and grips if you like the Heli and planning on keeping it.

Mike: I"ve got all new metal parts and IF I would of put them on this wouldn't of happened.
