Well looky here. I just found this forum and I have a sneaking suspicion there might be one or two of those varmints hanging around here that bought up all the $319 combos from readyheli AND helidirect. I'll get you you wascally wab-buy all the $319 combos-bits.

Too funny. Looked at that combo for two weeks at rh. Finally got down to it and it's gone. Went to hd. hah.

I had to buy the basic kit and a separate motor, esc, bec. Shamed him into throwing in a bone and he made it a swash levelling tool. Got 3 s3151's while there. Was thinking of taking the 401 and 9650 off of a 450 rex but may start fresh. Was trying to get a large bird for the absolute least dollar but as the excitement picks up the color of a dollar starts to pale.

Damn, it should be here by saturday. I am stoked.

Can I stand it?

You are probably better off with the basic kit since you want to put a better motor and ESC on your Hurricane anyway.

Most people (including me) went with a Z20A 980 Kv and are happy with it.

This reminds me of being available after dating someone for a long time.

Have had two trex 450's for over a year and got really comfortable and know just how they work.

There is so much rc stuff out there. I threw myself on the mercy of the salesman. He sold me a z30 tonic. With your post ke6d it sounds like a brand that is being used? Also a hobbywing controller. Funny name. Does not give me a bundle of confidence with a candyass name like that but.......will see.

I am more of a plug and play guy so gearing and keeping motor at a cool operating amperage will be interesting. I hope it will be a non-issue. Blowing up/breaking/wearing out prematurely, brand new misunderstood things is not fun.

The 9254 servo is twice the price of the 9650, twice the weight, has half the stall torque, and only a little faster on 4.8 volts than the 9650 on 6 volts. And will only run on the 4.8 v. hmmmm?

Scheduled delivery tomorrow. Have to stay home and wait to sign for package. We all have to make sacrifices.
