Hi there,

i just wondering if any other of you noticed the same. I have a stinger 50 and i allready replaced the head of this link twice because it has been broken allready. One time my son moved the pitch instead of the tail when the blades where secured so the 6KG servos power killed the link. But was very few movement so this is crazy. But the second one is even more strange. I carried the Heli and hold it slightly on one blade and turned it a bit. (To be honest no rude force here). Then it cracked again. I am a bit scared that this happens during flight.

Does anyone know about a metal replacement maybe or stonger ones. Maybe its because its cold here and the plastic get quickly broken but this somehow sucks.

I attached a picture of it.

greets

max

I have flown my Stinger 50 down to -12°F (-24°C) and never had any issue with the cold other than my fingers.
Was it cold when you replaced the first broken link?
The link has to stretch to get over the ball, it is possible that if the new link was very cold when it was installed that it could have cracked during installation.
I carry my heli around by one blade all the time. That in its self should not hurt anything.
