Hi,

I've just changed the RX in the model and am struggling to set it back up on the DX7 radio. Can anyone tell me what setting I need to use for swash type etc i.e 3 servo 90deg or 2 servo.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks

If you still have the dx6i that came with the blade, look at it.

For swash, you will need to select 120 CCPM (3 servos connected 120deg from each other on the swash). You will also need to set the swash mix correctly. I believe, with the factory servos, it's something like ail=60, pitch=60, elev=-60. There are videos on this site for setup of a trex450. They are worth looking at. It's a lot easier to program and test on the bench instead of testing in the air :)

I just changed mine to a DX7 today. I put the settings in the attachment. They work as a starting point, at least the heli behaved like it was still on the DX6i. I think the swash mix throws the aileron and elevator a bit too far, so most likely a -60%,-60%,-85% would be ok. Note the setting of the reverse switches! My Blade 400 connects the rear left servo to the aileron channel (2) and the rear right servo to the AUX1 (6) channel.

Miru thanks, that is fantastic. I've even found the settings in the Blade manual and set it up accordingly but its as though the swash mixing just aint happening. I'll give your setup a go tomorrow. Its 2.00am now and I dont think the good lady will approve of me going in garage noW.

Thanks for you words of advice Widower, that was a good starting point for me.

Will report back.

Many thanks
