No fees, just a 10.00 donation to go toward getting power to the field. This is not really a flying event (sanctioned) but a Helifreak get together. We would love to see everyone come and enjoy the field and the company of our fellow fliers. For me, I know I like to see vendors at the events and I do recognize what it costs them to attend. There will be no vendor fees at the September events either.
IF anyone while here, would like to make any donation to the club, it would be appreciated greatly. There is still a bunch of things to do at the field to make it as good as it can be for upcoming events. The airplane pilots love to see the helicopter guys show up and have fun (this is uncommon as well) and they really like to see what the heli pilots can (and do) do for the flying site. One of the recognized things at our site that makes the fellow plank fliers not only put up with us, but actually like us for what we do for them and leave behind! They also really enjoy watching the show(s)! I guess thats why the plank fliers do so much volunteer work at the Black Sheep events.

See everyone at the Sheep!

Also there is a July 4th celebration in West Pelzer Free Fireworks and Free KIDS rides. I will print out some maps on how to get there but it is only a 10 minute drive from the field. BTW it is going to be held on Saturday the 2nd from 5-dark:30. There will be plenty of things for the kids and for the adults. Also some pretty cool cops there like myself handing out stickers to the kids. I think this year everything is free except for the BBQ plates which are being sold to support the West Pelzer Fire Dept. I am also a member of this and will bring some tickets for it out there Friday as well. The cost is $7.00 for adult plates and $3.95 for kids plates. Some really good BBQ too. The best in the area by "Old Country Smokehouse off of SC HWY 81. I will also put my contact info on the maps for anyone needing additional info about the area. Unfortunately I have to wrok all weekend so I will not be able to hang out at the field.

Is there a PayPal address that our donation to the flying site can be sent to as opposed to paying cash at the event. Even if I can't make the FF, I'd still help you guys get power out there. :noteworthy

It was a great event. Black Sheep is a great field with plenty of air space. I love the far corner, lots of room away from the big dogs. :D And as a plus my heli's made it home with out need for repairs.:banana
