I am brand new to the sport. Never flown any RC of any type. I just received a x9303 and PhoenixRC Sim. I got the Sim installed last night, plugged in the TX and frankly am a very lost.
I have been searching the site for really basic startup info, but a lot of the examples I am finding assume you know a bit about Heli's and Radio's. And much of the info relates to setting up a craft. I don't even plan to purchase a machine until I am VERY comfortable with life in the SIM and with my radio. Plan to go Trex 450 SE V2 when I do it.
So my question is... is there any basic setup info I could be pointed to. Little things like, what switches should what functions be on. Startup sequences, how to configure the Idle Up, Throttle Hold, Curves and such. I read the words around here... but not really sure what all I need to get started in the SIM.
Any pointers are assistance would be greatly appreciated,
