Calibration software and mode 1 mode 2 conversion

Hi, I'm looking at buying a 14mz, but it is mode 1. I read that changing to mode 2 requires sending the radio in to a service centre for recalibration.

Can I do this recalibration with the calibration software found on the net?

Can I Set the radio to default to mode 2 with new models with this software also?

I am aware that you can change the country region settings, and was hoping these other options were possible too.

Thanks MZFAN. I thought that was the case, but needed to know for sure before I considered buying it. The cost of sending it away would somewhat negate the savings....

I think you can do it by yourself , I bought 14mz(mode1) last month, and I swap the stick position, change to mode2 , recalibrate sticks and switch position with fx-40 calibration utility
p.s you need downgrade to ver1,31 , after calibration change back to ver1.39
