I just finished hovering my mini titan for the first time. HUGE upgrade from my blade cp. I have only one question, after appr. 1 min. of hovering the motor seemed to kind of cut-out for a split second. I brought the heli down and began another hover, once again the whole semi RPM slowdown. Anyone have any ideas what this may be? I am also drifting left when hovering should I adjust this in the swash or try and trim it out?
Thanks,
Jim

The motor cutout I don't know about seems a little weird. What kind of radio system are you using? As for the drifting left, that's a natural tendancy in all helicopters. Its caused by the tail rotor blowing the heli sideways. In a stable hover the heli will be tilted to the right.

Im using a dx7 and can't figure it out. I am using 1800 mah batteries from my parkzone typhoon 3d airplane I'm pretty sure those are not causing it. I have no idea what is going on.

What's the C rating on the batteries, and what are you using for servos and a gyro?

you might have a bum esc. mine was doing that for a bit...then it would cut the headspeed down quite a bit...then one day it just died in mid-flight. try and sent it back for testing or a replacement.

Don't let anyone scare you in buying/replacing a ESC right away.....
Your 1800 Mah lipo is most likely causing the problems.
The stock combo needs quality lipo's, at least 25C 2170 mah.
Next thing to do is keep the RPM high, throttle in hover above 80%.
The ESC is more efficient and does not overheat easily this way.
Check your ESC settings,
When the voltage cut-off (battery protection) is set to light, it cuts the headspeed fast.
With a low capacity lipo this happens all the time.
I set it to the lowest protection value (nicad setting i believe), and time my flights to put back 80% of the lipo's total Mah.
Normally that would give you 5 minutes with the stock blades (get other blades!!, align woodies work great).
And 6:30-7:00 Min. with aligns or CFK blades.
Hope this helps.

Yeah that's why I asked what the C rating on the batts was. Never got a response though.
