I purchased a GY401 with S9257 servo for my Mini Titan E325. I followed Bob's instructions (watched his video), but I have a drift problem. While in HH mode the heli slowly (and very slowly) turns ccw (ie nose to left). This also happens in normal mode. There is no Wag at all. I've had the GEAR Travel ADJ down to 50 % with no WAG. Please help

This is what I have :
GY401 with S9257
JR 2610 Tx
JR 610 Rx

Settings on my Tx :
No Revo Mixing
No D/R and Expo
Travel ADJ on RUD is 100% for Left and 100% for Right
Travel ADJ for GEAR is +100% and -100% (Gain wire is plugged in to GEAR)
SUB TRIM for RUDDER is 0 and for GEAR is 0
I also have no trim on Rudder

did you set it up to hold a steady hover in rate mode first? i'm not sure about the mini titan, but with my 550 i'll get a bit of drift unless i set it up to hover in rate first. you could also try increasing the gain before you make any other major adjustment.

Yes I did get a steady hover in normal mode.

are your tail linkage ball links too tight? i had that problem with my 450. the ball links weren't sized, so the servo was trying to correct but wasn't able to move freely via the ball links.

I have a titan 50 with the same problem. drifts slowly ccw in rate and hh mode.

Look for vibration, the tell will be the bottom of the vertical fin. The 401 will hold just fine if you center the tail pitch slider with the servo arm 90 degrees to the rod and dont bother with a rate mode setup.
