expo on colective

ok i have a dx7 now how do i turn on expo on collective so my heli isnt so twitchy around nutral i cant find it on the manual i see theres a expo turn on in the swash setup but i turn it on and it doesnt seem to do anything and i dont see an adjustment anywhere either so does turning this on do anything or is there a way to adjust it ?

There are 3 types of expo.

1) Swash Mix expo - this adjusts the collective output to make the travel more linear. I found that this removes some of the twitchiness in teh collective. Youw ill need to do your complete setup again. You will not SEE any difference, but to me it FELT a lot different. Long thread in the Main Section.

2) Pitch and Throttle Curve expo - not really expo, but just smooths the curves. Make a V curve more like a U curve.

3) Aileron/Elevator/Rudder expo - traditional expo to soften center stick range but maintain full throws.

You can also program in your own quasy expo in the pitch and throttle curves. Leave the center and end points alone, but move the 1/4 stick points a little more to teh middle So instead of 0 - 25 - 50 - 75 - 100, use 0 - 30 - 50 - 70 - 100 or 0 - 35 - 50 - 65 - 100.

I just set up a DX7 for someone a few days ago, and I am trying to remember, and I think the expo was on the D/R settings screen, you set your expo with D/R in ele 0, and l, and ail 0, and l.
